Who Is Author Book Shipments?
Author Book Shipments helps authors coordinate the delivery of books to readers during major book launches.
We are part of the same family of companies as Brand Builders Group and Mission Driven Press.
Brand Builders Group is a personal-brand strategy firm that helps mission-driven messengers clarify their message, expand their reach, and share their expertise with more people.
Mission Driven Press is a hybrid publishing company distributed by Simon & Schuster. It helps authors publish books through traditional retail channels while maintaining professional editorial standards and retaining greater control and ownership of their intellectual property.
Through the work of these organizations, our team supports many authors (from many different publishers of all types) as they prepare for and execute major book launches.
Additionally, we strive to support all types of retail bookstores in an effort to celebrate literacy and in the advancement of continuing books in general as an important form of media in society.
Why Did I Receive an Email?
During a book launch, authors often partner with organizations, companies, community leaders, clients, or other supporters who want to help introduce their book to more readers.
In some cases, one of those supporters may offer to purchase books for members of their community. Alternatively, you may have already pre-ordered the book directly from the author or through a special promotion, and this invitation is simply the method being used to deliver your copy.
The person or organization identified in your email has either chosen to make the book available to you at no cost or is facilitating the fulfillment of a book you've already purchased.
In either case, the redemption process described in your email allows you to secure and receive your copy directly from the retailer without incurring any additional cost.
Why Am I Being Asked to Order the Book?
Books distributed through Author Book Shipments are delivered using redeemable vouchers.
This allows the book to be processed and delivered through the same trusted retail systems and shipping and supply chains that readers already use. It also supports booksellers, publishers, authors, and the broader publishing industry.
Your email contains the specific book, purchase link, instructions, and deadline associated with your invitation.
Is This Offer Legitimate?
Yes. We work with well-known authors as well as first-time authors and we are publisher agnostic meaning we support books from any and all publishers and not just Mission Driven Press.
Our role is simply to help make sure the process is completed accurately, reliably, and transparently for everyone involved.
We will never ask you to purchase a different product. We will NEVER ask you to send money directly to our team.
Please follow only the purchase and confirmation instructions provided in the email you received.
How is My Information Used?
Your information has not been sold to Author Book Shipments.
It was provided by the person or organization identified in your email for the limited purpose of communicating with you about the book being offered.
Your contact information will not be used for unrelated marketing or sold to another organization.
You also will not receive any additional emails or notifications from us outside of those related to a specific book that is being made available to you by a friend or organization that you should hopefully recognize.

1. Click the link in your email to accept your voucher. Your voucher will automatically be applied at checkout.
2. Select the HARDCOVER edition of book.
